About the event
Hang out with other 1st grade parents and learn how to decorate sugar cookies!
Perfect for beginners, I will guide everyone through techniques and designs to create beautiful spring cookies. We'll go over how to make icing and get it to the right consistency, how to fill and use piping bags, how to flood the cookie with the background color, and how to use different consistencies to decorate details. You don't need to bring anything, and you will take your sugar cookies home to enjoy.
The class will be held at the Need 'Em Cookies residential kitchen, which is in my home. We have no pets, it's a no smoking home, and I have a kosher kitchen. There are stairs up to the porch and stairs up to the kitchen from the entryway. Need' Em Cookies is a fully licensed and permitted home bakery business in Needham, Massachusetts.
